Principal Product Manager

Job summary The Red Hat Developer Tools team is looking for a Principal Product Manager to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, your team will be tasked with building and maintaining a portfolio of solutions that help developers build applications with containers in the cloud and on-premise. Our solutions include Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings like OpenShift.io, container-focused tools like Eclipse Che and CDK, as well as desktop tools like Developer Studio and our enterprise Linux developer tools. You'll develop and maintain impactful solutions with a collaborative team that values initiative and contribution across our customer accounts, business partners, and open source communities. As part of the product management team, you'll be responsible for the quality and pace of decision-making within the Developer Tools product team and work closely with engineering, marketing, and field teams. As a Principal Product Manager, you'll need to have experience in developer tooling, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offerings, and containers. Primary job responsibilities Oversee the solutions' life cycle, anticipate problems, and work to resolve issues and roadblocks quickly Work directly with engineering, marketing, and sales teams to make product goals clear and establish the go-to-market strategy Collaborate with product managers for other offerings to ensure alignment between the teams, both from a technical and messaging perspective Participate in the launches of our offerings, ensuring that both the messaging and timing have the greatest impact Work with other leaders in the organization to ensure that public launch activities have measurable and positive outcomes Work with the management team to set metrics that will guide product and upstream project success Maintain a broad knowledge of the market and open source projects related to software development and identify potential candidates to be brought into the Red Hat portfolio Ensure that the quality and pace of decision-making continues to increase and that the whole product team (product management, engineering, product marketing, etc.) are bought in and implementing the vision and decisions made Represent the Developer Tools team's solutions at user groups and conferences Required skills 5+ years of product development experience in a related market Knowledge of market and industry, including all aspects of development and development methodologies Demonstrated broad understanding of software development tooling topics, including application life cycle management, developer productivity, software quality, release management, and application monitoring Excellent communication and networking skills Willingness to travel up to 20% Ability to motivate team members Ability to focus on the underlying technology and be humble about the details Ability to develop lasting partnerships with engineering 65933

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
