Job summary The Red Hat Kernel Networking team is looking for a Manager focused on software engineering to join us in Westford, MA. In this role, you will lead a team that consists of both local and remote team members focused on kernel-level and user space networking. You'll work withinternal Red Hat's Engineers and the open source community, focusing on the Linux networking kernel space and core networking areas in the user space. As a Manager, you will collaborate closely with the kernel networking developers, other development managers, program managers, DevOps, and quality engineering (QE) as it relates to current and future team development projects and focus areas.  You'll also need to be able to participate directly in the development and provide technical leadership at a high level and under pressure. Primary job responsibilities Take responsibility for career development, supervision, and leadership efforts for the kernel networking team Guide and provide technical leadership and direction as it relates to projects, team, etc. Provide necessary notifications and updates to development managers and other teams on various project deadlines, bugs, patches, etc. Evaluate people, processes, and code as we continue to scale the team with an eye towards process improvements, efficiency, quality of code, etc. Coordinate with partners in Quality Assurance (QA), Development, and DevOps teams and the open source community both inside and outside of Red Hat regularly to help build and maintain relationships and communication Required skills Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or engineering 5+ years of management or technical leadership experience Experienced with Linux software development Solid problem-solving, relationship building, and organizational skills Ability to work on multiple tasks, projects, and releases concurrently Solid direct technical background in development or program management Familiarity with Linux kernel, networking (kernel and user space), and community Broad understanding of Linux and Unix development process, environment, and source control system Prior development experience with Linux or general software development environment Experience going through full life cycle of software releases is a plus 65932

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
