Job summary
The Red Hat Platforms business team is looking for a Product Marketing Intern to to join the Product Management (PM) team in Westford, MA. In this role, you will make use of your experience and background to guide the product direction of the Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) portfolio. You'll assist senior members with problem resolution as well as modernizing and streamlining the Release PM function. As a Product Marketing Intern, you'll need to have good balance of technical and business skills to help set business priority and describe value of technical features.
Primary job responsibilities
Work with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner management team to align partner requested features with the rest of the RFEs and ensure that they are also supporting market problems and marketing themes
Contribute to tooling and processes to ensure the quality of our offerings and goal attainment
Collaborate with Product Management, Program Management, and other teams to determine solutions priorities; plan solutions releases based on well-defined workload personas
Work with the PM team (specifically, both Release PM and Technical PM) to ensure that short-term milestones and deliverables are being met and on schedule; provide a central point of coordination for all release-specific milestones from planning to launch, including all active releases (currently four)
Document policy and PM decisions and ensure that they are effectively communicated to the product teams
Work closely with the Product Marketing team to develop positioning and go-to-market strategy; serve as an evangelist to inform and educate the user community of the offering
Required skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with Linux is a plus
Some software programming experience (Python, Node.js, etc.) is a plus

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
