Position Summary:
Our client is currently searching for a Senior Business Systems Analyst ? Oracle Financials.

This role provides a unique opportunity for a software professional to be able to work in multiple mission critical applications, primarily Oracle Applications.

  • The primary role of the Business Systems Analyst is to collaborate with business management on corporate strategic and operational initiatives in the areas of Financials ? General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Purchasing, iProcurement, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Management

  • Key Liaison between Business and IT for successful delivery of projects and accountable for operational support

  • Provides input to business leadership team on prioritization within the IT portfolio

  • Cross functional view of functional initiatives

  • Manage projects with varying degrees of complexity, provide production support to the business users and system processes, and ensure high level of IT service.

  • Implement automated solutions through a formal SDLC process including requirements definition, design, development, configuration, project planning, software testing and deployment.

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement test plans for functional changes, bug fixes, enhancements, patches and upgrades.

  • BA/BS in Business or Finance or Computer Science

  • 10+ years of experience with business process re-engineering and direct Oracle ERP implementations

  • 8+ years of direct experience with Oracle Financial modules

  • Strong technical and functional knowledge of Oracle ERP suite Release 12

  • Pluses: Mergers / Acquisitions and Business Intelligence Implementation Experience, 3rd party Integrations with Oracle applications, experience with Revenue Recognition and Management software, such as RevProd, RevStream, etc.

  • Candidate should have at least 2 full life cycles with hands-on configuration experience in multiple modules.

  • Strong technical and functional knowledge of the underlying Oracle tables, integration points, data conversion and technology processes, as they are critical to success in this role.

  • Experience implementing and supporting functional processes and technical design in an Oracle ERP system environment required. Previous experience in a functional business role supporting a $500M+ global manufacturing company, a global Oracle ERP implementation and its user community.

  • Must possess excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical users through both written and oral communications.

  • Must be self-organized, and be able to define tasks, establish priorities, and implement according to plan. Ability to assume responsibility and work autonomously or collaboratively in a professional and timely manner as required.

  • Must possess the technical expertise to troubleshoot and analyze issues that arise in the applications, due to various customizations. Ability to write SQL queries and understand PL/SQL Packages will be critical to this role.

  • Must be able to complete thorough and effective systems documentation, and develop and update system procedure

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
