Job description:

Channel-Development-Manager supporting/managing selected distribution partners and a national network of Independent Sales Representatives for lead qualification, pre-sales and sales fulfillment to Channel accounts. In this visible and influential position the Channel Development Manager will be embedded into a highly motivated team of sales and field application professionals. In addition, this individual will enhance existing and create new relationships with customers, independent sales representatives and distribution partners by proactively developing both tactical and strategic sales plans to set, monitor and achieve annual revenue goals for Swissbit North America.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build positive working relationships with Independent Sales Reps and Distribution Channel partners to maximize product sales within territory/customer base.
  • Manage existing partners and recruit new partners to achieve sales growth targets.
  • Coordinate with partners to identify key sales opportunities to generate increased revenue.
  • Provide product training to partners and have the ability to influence and to communicate Swissbit?s technology leadership and value proposition.
  • Develop and review sales proposals, plans, budgets and to-date performance with partners.
  • Develop partner specific sales and marketing plans to increase marketing and selling efforts.
  • Manage daily sales activities with partners to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Assist in product placement and promotional activities to increase sales.
  • Coordinate with partners to develop joint business plans to meet or exceed mutually agreed upon business objectives.
  • Perform business reviews and recommend improvements.
  • Manage sales activities and maintain sales records and reports.

Required profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales management, related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-10 years direct sales experience in related electronics industry.
  • Experience in an electronic distribution environment is required.
  • Embedded Storage Product and strong industrial segment knowledge is a definite asset.
  • Channel and Distribution Sales and Marketing knowledge and experience.
  • Strong organization and problem solving skills with an ability to develop relationships at all levels with Distribution, Regional Sales Managers and Independent Sales Representatives.
  • Need to demonstrate the ability to establish rapport with and build customer confidence. 
  • Prior experience and proficiency with Salesforce CRM is a plus.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel/Pivot, and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player. 
  • Able to write, communicate and present to customers with a professional acumen. 
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment; must be high energy, motivated and a self-starter.
  • Travel is expected to be up to 50% based on meeting sales goals.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
