UTC Aerospace Systems has an immediate opening for a Sr. Data Manager in Westford, Massachusetts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage contract data requirements lists (CDRLs) across multiple US military programs for the Domestic Airborne Programs (DAP) office.
+ Create and maintain schedules for CDRLs to ensure deliveries are made on time.
+ Review and edit CDRLs for formatting, grammar, consistency, and overall professional quality before submittal to customers.
+ Ensure CDRLs on FMS programs are in compliance with the Data Item Descriptions (DIDs) listed in DD Form 1423 of each contract.
+ Work with Engineering, Contracts, Logistics, Finance, and other functional groups to develop CDRLs.
+ Develop metrics for internal and external customers and establish methods to better data management processes.
+ Support proposal development by creating Basis of Estimates (BOEs) and compiling proposal packages for submittal.
+ Work with International Trade Compliance (ITC) to ensure documents are marked and compliant with U.S. export regulations.
+ Support weekly internal program meetings as well as customer meetings as needed.
Qualification:
+ Intermediate-expert level skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat
+ 2-3 years of experience in related field
+ Excellent writing, critical thinking, organizational, and people skills
+ Must be extremely detail-oriented
+ Must be able to work both independently and within a group

Education: BA Required, or five years related experience in lieu of education with demonstrative writing and computer skills. Preferred: BA in English-

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
