Software Engineer - Subscriber Services (3GPP)

About the Position:
Juniper's Westford, MA location is looking for a self-driven, motivated software developer to design, develop and support network protocol software by developing, enhancing, and maintaining software components for carrier grade 3GPP standards based systems.
Candidate must have strong communication skills and be comfortable collaborating and working with multiple cross-functional teams to achieve success.
As an individual contributor in the subscriber services protocols team, you will be responsible to:
Design and develop control plane software for high capacity mobile solutions.
Work closely with other team members, system test and product management to drive engineering solutions to completion
Design, document, implement, and maintain mobility control plane software using IETF and 3GPP standard protocols
Develop well-written functional and design specifications, unit test plans
Successfully deliver high quality software for JUNOS releases
Analyze and solve problems reported by customers and system test
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/MS in CS/CE or similar field, with professional software development experience
Strong C and/or C++ programming skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Discipline to follow software engineering principles and processes
Fundamental understanding of computer networks, networking operating systems
Desire to pursue a career in software development and networking
Knowledge of UNIX/FreeBSD/Linux operating systems, inter-process communication
Understanding of subscriber access protocols such as RADIUS, Diameter, 3GPP Gx/Gy/Gz, TCP/IP, and Ethernet is a plus
Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming principles
Knowledge in 3GPP standards protocols, CUPS (29.244, 23.214), 5G 23.501, GTP (29.274, 23.401).
Experience with Gy (charging protocol), Gx for subscriber policy and charging control.
Experience with developing Session/bearer management and signaling aspects of Mobile Gateways as per 3GPP standards (i.e. 29.274 & 23.401).
Understanding and prior working experience in end to end mobile solutions including MME/SGW/GW/PCRF interfaces and functionality is desired

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
