Responsibilities:
+ Working with Finite Element Analysis (Patran/NASTRAN preferred)
+ Experience with CAD Solid Modeling (CREO/PDM)
+ Work in laboratory and understand protocols and standard tools/equipment
+ Component integration and design for manufacturability
+ Mechanical analysis and problem solving skills
+ Perform root cause assessments and implement solutions for production issues
+ Draft technical reports and procedures
Qualification: 4-7+ Years of experience within related field
Required Skills
+ Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis
+ Experience with CAD Solid Modeling (CREO/PDM)
+ Applied experience with hands on engineering applications
+ Experience with laboratory work protocols and standard tools/equipment
+ Knowledge of component integration and design for manufacturability
+ Basic mechanical analysis and problem solving skills
+ Working knowledge of engineering drawing practices
+ Ability to perform root cause assessments and implement solutions for production issues
+ Ability to draft technical reports and procedures
Preferred Skills
+ Understanding of dynamic systems and modal analysis
+ Working Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink
+ Familiarity with relevant military specifications and commercial design standards
+ Experience leading other junior engineers within an integrated product team environment
Competencies
+ Experience with Microsoft Office applications including MS Word, Excel and Power Point
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to interact well with other team members across various disciplines, including electrical engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and program management
+ Ability to work in a multi-tasking environment
+ Due to programs/projects candidates must be a US Citizen.
+ Candidate must have the ability to obtain a DoD Clearance as needed.
+ 10-20 % Domestic Travel may be needed for this role.
Education: BS is required; Mechanical Engineering is preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
