JOB PURPOSE AND REPORTING STRUCTURE
Design, fabricate, program, install, modify and repair electrical control systems for Materion's new and existing vacuum chambers including application specific instrument design and interfacing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and fabrication of Industrial Control Systems including specification and selection of components in accordance with project specific requirements and applicable electrical codes with an emphasis on safety and reliability. Knowledge of NEC and UL508 are desirable.Generation of mechanical layout drawings to match the system requirements with the available space, allowing for ease of installation, use and maintenance. Proficiency in the use of AutoCad 2D and 3D software is desirable. Some mechanical design experience is beneficial.Generation of electrical schematics necessary to wire the control system and interface it to other system components. Schematics must be clear and concise as they provide the documentation to fabricate, modify and troubleshoot the control system. Knowledge of Eagle CAD software and industry standard practices is desirable.Requires the use of basic hand tools to mount the components to the control panels and install the completed system.Wiring of control panels to interconnect all components including labeling all connections in accordance with the electrical schematics. Control system wiring experience, knowledge of industry standard practices and good manual dexterity is desirable.PLC programming, specifically Automation Direct PLC's, with an emphasis on program reliability and safety. Knowledge of DirectSoft PLC programming software is desirable.HMI (Human Machine Interface) software configuration to provide all visual and tactile interfaces with the control system. This requires some graphic design skills and an emphasis on user interoperability with the system. Familiarity with Automation Direct Point of View or Indusoft Web Studios and VB Script is desirable.Printed Circuit Board Design (PCB) Design. Knowledge of Eagle CAD is desirable.Knowledge of analog, digital and micro controller circuits to facilitate the design and repair of new and existing equipment. Knowledge of C language programming is desirable.Fundamental knowledge of PC computer systems and hardware including a basic knowledge of networking.Knowledge of databases and SQL programming.Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, with an emphasis on VB programming.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, with a minimum of five years manufacturing experience

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
