The Red Hat Systems Design and Engineering group is looking for a Portfolio Integration Architect with a demonstrated background of thought leadership in the technology areas that are key to Red Hat's Open Hybrid Cloud strategy. These include Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), virtualization, containers, (Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service), cloud computing, software-defined storage, software-defined networks, and middleware. In this role, you will create a vision and define goals for a product portfolio integration architecture that aligns with Red Hat's strategy. This position is based at Red Hat's engineering headquarters in Westford, Massachusetts.
Work closely with the lead architects and strategists from Red Hat's product development groups and internal teams
Manage the architectural alignment across the Red Hat product portfolio and into strategic partner relationships
Become the keeper of an integrated technology roadmap
Integrate strategic product direction, end-to-end use cases, and bottom-up architectural aggregation
10
years of experience in a product strategy, senior software development, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture role
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience working on the customer-facing or business side of the software industry
Experience working on systems architecture in strategic partnerships with large software vendors
Passion for open source software development
Eye for architecture and developing new architectures
Understanding of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
Exceptional communication, presentation, analytical, and persuasive skills
