Aquila is seeking a Systems Administrator to join our team in supporting one of the country's premier defense research organizationsThere are a few requirements for the position:

)o Reside within 100 miles of Lexington, MassachusettsWhat You'll Do:
The group's current research and development efforts focus on problems such as tracking and identification of newly launched satellites, tracking and discrimination of satellites in geosynchronous clusters, automated radar image exploitation, close approach monitoring and collision warning, applications of multi-sensor data fusion, and decision supportThe group is also developing a net-centric, service-oriented information systemThere is a need to support all of the infrastructure with a Systems AdministratorWhat You'll Bring:
o Currently holds a Secret Clearance (OR a higher clearance)o 3 years of General Hardwareo 3 years of configuring and managing centralized Logging and Audit Capabilitieso 5 years of Enterprise Backup Solutionso 3 years MS Active Directory, LDAPo 3 years of SCCM, and Active Directoryo 3 years of Strong Backup Experience and Proven Ability to Protect Mission Critical Datao 5 years of System Administrationo 3 years of UNIX platform, OSX, Cisco IOSo 3 years of Windows Patch Managemento 3 years of Windows Servero 3 years of Windows Server Platform Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
o Specify, design, implement, and test network and computer system configurations and upgrades in consultation with the staffo Develop, coordinate, and implement network security plans and measures in accordance with government and the facility's policieso Identify system performance issues and assess user needs in order to recommend specific changes and upgradeso Perform data backups and recoveries; assist staff with computer and network problems and taskso Research and recommend commercial hardware and software products to meet project and group requirementso Order hardware and software productso Renew software licenses to ensure continuity of serviceo Interact with vendors, the facility's personnel, and other system administrators to coordinate procurements, installations, upgrades, and other servicesWorking Knowledge of the Following:
o MS Active Directory, LDAPo SCCM, and Active Directoryo General Hardwareo Strong Backup Experience and Proven Ability to Protect Mission Critical Datao System Administrationo UNIX platform, OSX, Cisco IOSo Windows Patch Managemento Windows Servero Windows Server Platformo Strong interpersonal and organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision are required.
o Must be team-oriented, be able to create documentation on systems to satisfy certification, technical staff, and end user needs.
o Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and networking problems is requiredAnd These Skills are a Bonus:
o Bachelor's Degreeo Experience with security plans (i.
eRisk Management Framework), procedures, and compliance with DoD directive 8140 is highly desired.
o Work experience in mission-critical environments is highly desirableEnterprise-level hardware and software applications like NetApp, Networker, Nagios, and Ansible.
o Some working knowledge of programming languages such as Perl, python, C/C++, and scripting languages is desired.
